King City is located in the south Salinas Valley. Broadway Street in historic downtown offers a small-town look and the nearby San Lorenzo Park houses an agricultural and rural life museum with restored farm buildings and an 1800s one-room schoolhouse. There is also a small municipal airport, pool complex, golf course and fairgrounds.
