Central Coast Field Office - BLM

The Central Coast Field Office (CCFO) (Formerly the Hollister Field Office (HFO) area encompasses approximately 284,000 acres of public lands located in central California. The CCFO lands are bounded by the Pacific Ocean on the west and the San Joaquin Valley (SJV) to the east, with an elevation range from nearly sea level to over 5,000 feet. Varied landforms include the Central Coast Range, the Salinas and San Joaquin Valleys and three major watersheds including the Pajaro draining into the Pacific Ocean, and the Arroyo Pasajaro and Silver Creek that drain east to the SJV.
