Delano is located in prime agricultural area with orchards, vineyards and field crops. Population 30,000. On Highway 99 in northern Kern County. Small-town business center with one and two-story buildings. Old Fox Theater, state prison and return-to-custody facility, many new residential developments and county park with small lake nearby.
