As you step through the gate, you are greeted by a view of a spectacularly landscaped secret garden with salt and pepper gravel pathways leading to a restored 1898 antique farmhouse, a barn with attached cottage, an upper lawn with a breathtaking view of the neighboring vineyard, and numerous flower beds filled with an abundance of a unique variety of plants, succulents, shrubs and trees. The light here is positively radiant from morning to night, and when the moon is full, it casts an ethereal glow over everything.

There are over 2+ acres of gardens and a terraced upper lawn which overlooks a stunning view of a naturalistic stone surround fresh water pool and the 110 acre vineyard. The gardens include over 200 varieties of roses, including climbing, antique, shrub and carpet; over 500 ornamental grasses of different sizes and varieties; succulents of all types in antique containers and in the ground throughout the garden; a pathway lined with Provençal lavender leads from the main house down to the pool. The property is dotted with mature olive trees, spectacular California Oaks and other mature specimen trees that range in age up to 100+ years.

The main house was restored in 1989. During the restoration, the original redwood walls were taken down, rough sanded and bleached. The wood was then redistributed throughout the house on the main floor. These walls have become a point of interest to scouts, filmmakers, photographers and designers who have used our location for their brand campaigns and shoots. There are 3 levels to the main house: the main floor which includes a living room, kitchen, dining area, full guest bath, a guest bedroom, and the main bedroom with an attached, newly built, oversized and light filled vintage style master bathroom. The lower level includes a storage area, a full bath, a king sized bed surrounded by bookcases, with a with outdoor deck.The media room is on the upper level and has a 4 panel hinged glass door which opens fully to a balcony that overlooks the vineyard and the meadow below.

The barn has an open floor plan with exposed beams with skylights for natural lighting. It has been renovated to include a charming, private one bedroom cottage with front porch and two rooms decorated with quintessential vintage California decor.
