Constructed in August 2020, we are a multipurpose recreational facility located in in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. Our mission is to provide a facility in Downtown, Los Angeles for youth, families, and seniors that offers sports, community activities, and opportunities to connect visitors to Japanese American culture and a vibrant, sustainable Little Tokyo.

Our facility has a gymnasium which includes 2 full sizes high school basketball courts or 1 FIBA regulation sized championship court, an outdoor stage and plaza area, Japanese courtyard, community room, and terraces that overlook the plaza and Los Angeles Avenue.

Gym (13,941 sq ft):
Sports Use - The indoor gymnasium features two basketball courts, four volleyball courts and a competition space for martial arts. Seating for up to 600 spectators.
Non-Sports Use - With the gym floor covering system, the space is completely transformable to host any type of event. Equipped with a sound system.

Plaza & Stage (4,330 sq ft): The outdoor plaza and elevated stage is the perfect setting for weddings, concerts and events of all kinds. Strands of bistro lighting are draped above while lush vegetation, trees, and shrubs surround the plaza.

Terrace (6,562 sq ft): The outdoor second-level terrace wraps around the north and east sides of the facility, providing views of Los Angeles Street and the plaza and stage below. Areas of green space adorn the terrace, which also features a children’s playground, community garden, and mural.

Courtyard (1,399 sq ft): The outdoor courtyard is a serene space with a Japanese inspired rock garden and stunning gingko tree. Surrounded by glass windows on either side, it offers an indoor/outdoor ambience and is perfect for meetings, classes, ceremonies, and meditation space.

Community Room (830 sq ft): The multi-purpose community room accommodates classes, meetings, workshops, and countless other activities. Features a built-in LED television for presentations, a divider that can split the space (into 1/3 and 2/3 sections), and floor-to-ceiling glass that provides views of the courtyard.

Parking Lot: The underground parking garage is open to the public from Monday – Thursday (7am – 10:30pm) and Friday – Sunday (7am – 12am), and can accommodate up to 55 cars, including three electric vehicle charging stations. You can buy out our parking lot, which includes one parking attendant to monitor the parking entrance.
