Drive five to ten minutes outside of Folsom or Rancho Cordova and you will be taken by how dramatically the landscape changes.
Genuinely, you may as well have just stepped into the African Savannah, the Scottish Highlands or a set from Lord of the Rings. Rolling emerald hills interspersed with the large boulders and rocky hills of the Sierra Foothills, twisting creeks and lush pastures, occasionally dotted with livestock and dispersed barns and farms. Such a gorgeous area is really begging to have something spectacular filmed here.
