The mountain cliffs in the backyard & the canyons create a great area that has a different looks for filming it’s shaped like a tostada bowl usually a desert look & 8 1/2 acres and part of that makes a little road that comes down to the gas station / mechanic shop, The gas pumps are movable, It really is a gas station in the middle of nowhere type of a place. The mechanics area is filled with tools and aesthetics that create a natural backdrop for anything related to fixing things.
It’s got a black and white checkered tile floor that has made a beautiful dance floor or looks good with a car.
It has a Lyft in it so you can put a car up in the air. There’s a wraparound area on the garage that has a wood shop in the back. We have a plan on making a large barn door & glass door and adding a convenience store. Note a small convenience store can nearly be built with counters, cash register wall form and shelves on hand.  
The other part is a Trailer that is weathered and looks kind of like it could be a hide out or part of a Breaking Bad set. There’s a few shipping containers on the property and we filmed inside a couple of those. I think most important the largest areas are completely natural. That works for some projects and then productions are able to use the garage for another part of the projects like two different sets. There are several old cars on the land one burned in the Tick fire... exploded.
We live in a typical Santa Clarita track home that is not the highlight of the property. We have added a 2 bedroom and 2 more bathrooms and a 2nd kitchen that doubles as an apartment area … or a green room holding area while productions are here. The kitchen is easy to film in because it is spacious.  This part is sectioned off from where we live…. It’s practical and helpful.  We like filming here, It’s a good thing. I’m a visual artist so I kind of understand.
