Reliance Church Chapel
United States / Temecula, California
Location ID: #10266570
Build in 1889 in historic Old Town Temecula, the Pujol Schoolhouse is a classic one-room, frontier-style schoolhouse. In 1915, a group of Temecula residents, led by Frieda Knott, repurposed the schoolhouse to serve as the only Protestant church in Temecula. It was meticulously moved in 1986 to its present site and completely restored in the early 2000's. Features include large textured-glass windows, bell tower, hand-laid wood plank floors, paneled walls with lots of stained wood accents.
