Located on South Gate's historic Tweedy Mile, Brown Soul Brewery opened its doors in 2023. Part owned by Culinary Producer Hugo Sanchez, this location welcomes production teams and film crews knowing film standards firsthand. With an occupancy of 125, the brewery/kitchen provides a contemporary canvas for film makers to bring their vision to life. Brewery is at the corner of Tweedy Blvd & San Antonio Ave, with parking located directly behind the building providing easy load-in access for equipment. Location consists of an L-shaped bar, kitchen (visible through windows overlooking bar and seating area), brewhouse and an upstairs area that can be used as a control room/production space (or an additional filming space, if needed!). There are a total of 2 restrooms available for crew use and all bar furniture can be moved and rearranged to meet the needs of the shoot. As the brewery doubles as a gastropub, catering & craft services can additionally be provided on-site.
