Bufford Ranch is a 900+ acre working cattle ranch located in Kern County, California, approximately 125 miles north of Downtown Los Angeles and roughly 70 miles outside of the Los Angeles Studio Zone. The property offers expansive open grasslands, rolling hills, rugged backcountry terrain, and striking Rocky Mountain–style rock formations.

Natural features include oak, pine, and cottonwood groves, a year-round creek, stocked pond, and multiple elevated vantage points with panoramic mountain views. Cultural and historic elements include Native American pictographs, archaeological sites, and historic gold mining remnants.

The ranch includes two double-wide residences, a red cabin, utility sheds, ranch roads, corrals, fencing, and heavy equipment. Livestock onsite includes approximately 50 cattle, 20 calves, and 3 horses.

Unlike some of Kern's lower elevations, the area has four full seasons, with snow in winter and wildflowers in spring.
