This is an excellent commercial rafting run, with more exciting rapids and better solitude. Tunnel Chute (usually rated class V) is quite an adrenalin rush, and the portage around Ruck-a-Chucky (formerly rated unrunnable) is amazing. Additionally, there are two challenging class IV rapids, and many class III rapids for several miles at start and finish.
Rivers/rapids. There are caves and caverns, campgrounds, parks, and jungles. Four miles of riverfrontage outside of Foresthill. Privately Owned: includes an 1850s-era store/cabin/former bordello, class II to class V rapids, and a tunnel with a river running through stamp mill ruins, old boxcar, meadows, and tropical area. Vegetation includes woodlands and meadows. Navigable river features whitewater and wilderness shoreline. Rapid features include camera position bottom, pool at the top, pool bottom, and camera position top. Rock configurations include rock outcroppings, canyon walls, and gorges. The log cabins have ceiling heights of 8'-10', less than 500, and 500-1000, and are located in campgrounds next to the river, delta, and waterfall. There are deciduous, oak, pine, and evergreen vegetation. The 1 lane unpaved road has an s-curve layout. The mountains scale 3000'-5000' in valley landscape and open terrain. The rock features include canyon walls and rock outcroppings. The scale of rock is 50'-100' and 100'-500'. Also known as Horse Shoe Bar Company
