Description:Angeles Abbey Cemetery contains examples of Byzantine, Moorish and Spanish architectural style. Taj Mahal match. Four large mausoleums with stained glass windows and skylights. A chapel is inside one of the mausoleums and has a beautiful pipe organ although it does not work. 1-10 acres in an urban landscape. The cemetery was built in 1923 and survived the 1933 Long Beach Earthquake. Office closed on weekends. NO morgue or mortuary facility on site.
Site Condition:Site Visit 5/18/26: The cemetery has fallen into disrepair.
