Description:A remote rugged beach a mile and a half south of the small town of Westport and about 200 miles north of San Francisco. It is a beautiful stretch of beach with impressive waves and offers surfing opportunities.
Site Condition:Cars can be driven onto beach. No signs discourage this but caution is advised of soft sand. Parking lot is owned by CalTrans. Please contact our CalTrans District (District 1) at (707) 445-6600 for permit information.
