Description:
For this stretch of river, it runs in parallel with Highway 101 for ten miles before entering Sonoma County toward the south. From the highway, a number of publicly accessible paths exist which lead to small stony beaches along the stretch. This particular spot, as seen in the above photos, is located in proximity of the county's landmark rock formation called Frog Woman Rock. The beaches, although publicly accessible, is not part of any apparent park system.
