Two blocks from the beach and strand in Manhattan Beach, CA our chic beach home is filled with natural light and incredible ocean views. We desired our home to feel like a Parisian apartment in a mellow So Cal beach town. Furnishings are a blend of modern, traditional, beach-chic, French and a nod to Regency well executed with designers like Jonathan Adler, The Grimaldi Brothers, Philippe Stark, Eames, with classic mid-century items like Barcelona Chairs, George Nelson Lamps and Clocks make for a nice mix of genres. The bright white modern farmhouse kitchen includes the quintessential farmhouse sink, stainless appliances and black granite countertops amid a unobstructed views. Built on the reverse floor plan, the upstairs is wrapped in double pane windows and laid out in open concept: the large open space includes the living room with French Limestone Fireplace, spacious dining area, eat-in kitchen, large balcony with French Encaustic tile and grasscloth clad powder room. The home is 2800 square feet- three levels, with 3 large bedrooms/4baths. The upper floor holds the common areas, the middle level has two bedrooms, and the third bedroom, patio and garage are on the bottom floor. Throughout the space crisp white walls lay a perfect canvas for original modern art, yet the bedrooms are a comfortable ultra-pale grey except for the guest room on the bottom level which is Robbin Egg Blue. Flooring is hardwood in all spaces except for the middle floor bedrooms. There are three balcony/patios all tiled and trimmed in wrought iron. Usage Restriction:
We can be flexible almost anytime with advanced notice. For last minute bookings, the bottom level floor which is also a home office may possibly not be available for shooting. Rental is not available during Christmas. For late shoot days or long term, we will require a hotel with two adjoining rooms or a suite.
