Description:A four-mile long unpaved county road weaving through the beautiful semi-remote countryside with views of grassy hills and lightly dense forests. A perfect backdrop of countryside living in a ranch and wine growing region.
Site Condition:As of 2018, a small section of road has been observed to be damaged by mudslides. The road is still passable by car but trucks and trailers are not advised as of this time. In the last mile or so, the road is less maintained with frequent pot holes and a transition from gravel to dirt.
General Notes:submitted by Sharon Davis 6.4.2018 / updated 11.14.2023 bd
Usage Restriction:A third of a mile in is paved road through a mildly residential area. Transitions immediately to a smooth gravel road. At about 3/4 of a mile, you can walk up to a somewhat shaded spot with a scenic view of a portion of the valley. Is accessible from a pullover within view of a trash can.
