Description:A somewhat busy highway connecting the coastal city of Fort Bragg and Willits through a mainly wilderness corridor of redwood forests that make up Jackson State Demonstation Forest. The road is lined with entrances to campgrounds and former logging roads. Halfway through is the Camp 20 Recreation Area, a designated picnic and rest stop.
Site Condition:Good! - - Within the first mile or so, flowering Pacific Rohdenons grow along the highway which bloom in early summer.
