Description:The downtown street of the small coastal town situated along Highway 1 on the Mendocino County southern coast. Built around the 1930s, the modest historic buildings that line this street offer a colorful downtown scene with businesses including a movie theater (historically a vanderdale playhouse), library, grocery store, delis, boutique shops, lodgings, pub, and a car garage. A nice stop for visitors who travel along the Pacfic coast.
