Description:Known as the Gateway to the Redwoods, this small city is found 137 miles north of San Francisco. Its situated next to the Highway 101 corridor at the the heart of Mendocino County. It offers botique shops, an Art Deco Theatre, County Museum, and more. Willits is the home of the Skunk Train and the famous racing horse, Seabiscuit.
Site Condition:Good. A very charming place. The completion of the Highway bypass in 2016 has made downtown safer and quieter with the absence of congested traffic.
