Description:Twin Mountain Rock Venture's Red Hill quarry consists of approximately 330 acres of scenic high desert landscape with a lush backdrop of the Sierra Nevada mountain range to the west and ancient volcanic fields to the north and the east. The property contains an operational mining facility, mechanical/fabrication shop, multiple quarry locations as well as vast open settings in which to film. At the center rests the majestic namesake red cinder cone from which we mine our aggregate to be shipped throughout California. On site the quarry possesses multiple serviceable pieces of mining equipment: a pit loader, load out loader, 2,000 gallon water truck, grader and a crane. Red Hill is located approximately 1 mile north from the U.S National Register's historic Fossil Falls geological feature, 35 miles from Ridgecrest, CA and the Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake and 50 miles from the famous western filming locations of Lone Pine, CA.
