Description:Former home to one of the world’s most superlative private collections of antebellum and civil war era carriages including Rockefeller’s curtain coach from 1850, the tucked away Tudor-styled building on Gower just west of Hollywood Boulevard has been reimagined into a glamorous and intimate high-end event space, called The Trophy Room. The 3,600-square foot venue will become available for private events for 102-400 party goers starting May 1st. A series of familiarization events for meeting, event and wedding planners, location scouts, publicists, production designers, the press, studios, record companies and event rental companies, will be held in the months of June and July every Wednesday, beginning June 1st, for which one can RSVP here. The main room features a wide-plank, white oak herringbone floor, the bar a 1920’s historic patterned hexagon tile and the mezzanine, a thick wool tartan carpet. Sets of red, Chesterfield leather, button-tufted sofas make conversation settees, and the room is surrounded in red oak-paneled walls filled with art and the senior Tilley’s exceptional collection of exotic animal taxidermy. A two-story centerpiece wood bar is fronted by an art deco-leaf motif tin bas-relief. Shiny brass foot rails are held in place by the trunks of generous-sized brass sculpted elephant heads. A dazzling and underlit collection of crystal decanters showcase handmade mixologist secrets on the barback. A collection of Tiffany-stained glass lamps illuminate period napkin holders on the graciously wood carved guest bar top. Mixologist Will Cutting has created a signature menu of customized cocktails, such as “Dama Guapa” and “Secret Garden,” for planners to consider for their events. Cozy alcoves on the sides of the room are flanked in Depression-glass showcases filled with conversation pieces that range from a Chinese saber of the 1700s to war/military relics of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The mezzanine is rimmed by a gold-leafed peekaboo banister that oversees the main floor. Upstairs, deep leather chairs beckon a good cigar and rare scotch. A weighty Brunswick Kling pool table with a wide stance and mother-of-pearl inlaid details stands adjacent to an antique cue collection enticing guests for a game of pool, billiards, or snooker. Even the ladies and men’s rooms are dressed perfectly to period. Inside old school clouded-glass office doors with Victorian cast bronze hardware, are wainscoted walls, topped in fabric wall coverings, a Lewis & Wood-designed fox hunting design from 1860. The special wallcovering was hand-colored from lithographs believed to be by Henry Thomas Aiken. Chain flush toilets are featured with vintage pedestal sinks and deco cross-handle brass hardware. The Trophy Room features a catering kitchen behind a vintage carved panel swing door. A ceiling drop-down screen with projection system makes private screenings for adjacent studio neighbor executives a must. The sound system features Episode Signature speakers that play all the way to the restrooms.

Usage Restriction:Trophy Room is a private venue with a liquor license and catering kitchen. Restrictions limit selling liquor at 11 PM on weekdays and 12 am on weekends and renters must use Trophy Room bartenders. Every vendor needs to provide a certificate of insurance and carry a minimum of $1,000,000 in comprehensive general liability, $2,000,000 for injury and $500,000 for property damage. Film crews need to provide padding for any equipment areas. No art or taxidermy will be moved. Trophy Room requests use of finished media for marketing after release. Mandatory security is required; 1 per 100 guests. Sound restrictions are 55 decibels and must be utilized inside (not on outdoor patio). Valet is not mandatory, but highly recommended (parking lot is next door).
