Description:Located 36 miles northeast of Marysville, off Highway 49 Camptonville is a gem that you do not want to miss! The Historic Camptonville Ranger Station has several historical buildings on site. This district is also home to the Tahoe Hotshots fire crew. The Ranger Station was originally constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps between 1934-1936. The Church of Curiosity and the old site graveyard on the side of the church really do bring out the curiosity of Camptonville!
