Awesome bar out in the country, just a few miles from town! There is an outdoor stage and fire pit in the back. I half way expected to see Patrick Swayze in the big open gravel parking lot lined with signs and willow trees. 7 Mile [Road]House Wheelmans Exchange is 164 years old, and the rustic appearance shows. Opened in 1858, 7 Mile House was just one — or, specifically, the seventh — of many mile houses, stage coach pitstops positioned at one-mile intervals on the road out of San Francisco. 7 Mile House is just over the border into Brisbane — another, called 16-Mile House, survives in Millbrae.
