Description:This very large desert property in Pioneertown has a long history of being used for film productions... all the way back to the serial westerns of the 1950's. With magnificent towering rock formations reminiscent of Joshua Tree National Park, long vistas of table-top mountains, a dirt road going through varying terrain, and different "looks", this is an affordable location for many types of shoots. In addition, it's isolated enough to be used for code red / embargoed vehicle shoots, and it is VERY quiet for sound recording. Parking is plentiful for up to medium sized shoots, and a large film-friendly ranch is nearby for additional parking.
