Description:Moon Dune Beach is the finest white sand beach in Lake Tahoe. The beach is located in the community of Tahoe Vista just off of North Lake Boulevard. Snow Creek flows through the site. Limited parking is available only along the highway. There are no developed facilities. Garbage services and portable restrooms are provided in the summer near the entrance. Sorry, pets are never allowed at Moon Dune Beach. The beach spans property owned by the California Tahoe Conservancy and Placer County. North Tahoe Public Utility District maintains the Placer County beach, while California State Parks provides services and law enforcement for the State-owned portion. ~https://www.tahoepublicbeaches.org/beaches/moon-dune-beach/
