This 35-acre community park, owned by the City of Chico and operated by CARD, is steeped in history, once being the site of the iconic large Hooker Oak tree, featured in the 1930s movie "Robin Hood." Established in 1953, Hooker Oak Park offers a range of amenities, including multiple playgrounds, picnic areas, horseshoe pits, basketball court, softball and baseball fields, and Sherwood Forest Kids Disc Golf Course.
