Description:
There is a vintage, rustic, atmospheric semi-rural property in a highly desirable but not overly fancy neighborhood called Indian Valley. It is accessible to town, but surrounded by hills, horseback riders, cyclists, hiking trails, wide open spaces, and quaint, smaller cottages. A mix of large estates and smaller places, and walkable to the downtown of Novato, but immediately removed. You are transported when in the neighborhood to another era. It combines rustic with modern, vintage with scenery. The neighborhood and property have beautiful oak trees throughout, along with more ornamental trees and redwoods, too. The front yard is large and spacious. The entire property is about two acres. The setting and location are impossible not to see, as this property is an anchor of the neighborhood. There are two houses on the property, a large main house and also a guest house in front. For the main house, which is two-story with a front porch, there is a large backyard, landscaped with a swimming pool, spa, redwood and oak trees, a back deck, backyard bathroom, and a separate patio across a creek that is rocked and surrounded by ferns and other plants. There is a creek bridge as well. Curving blue rock paths edge the large lawn. On the side yard, there is a large garden with three big planter boxes and fruit trees, and is hardscaped with blue rock. The front porch entry to the main house has a red brick seashell shaped patio with brick stairs/skirt as a walk up to the entrance. Cedar-stained redwood fencing with lattice edging surrounds much of the property, along with white ranch-style horse fencing in front, which wraps around part of the property. Most fencing is about two years old. The guest house has its own patio and porch and is a one-story cottage/ADU. Both houses are painted a cool gray with vintage white trims, both with sky blue porch ceilings. There is also a pool house and well house, along with a tough barn shed....all structures painted in same colors. There is a nice setback from road, plenty of privacy and space for the crew. It can be an open house for filming...in essence. Please feel free to reach out. Thank you
