Description:The San Carlos Airport is located 20 miles south of downtown San Francisco near the San Francisco Bay. It was constructed in it's present location in 1948. Terminal built in 1966. The San Carlos Airport is home to approximately 500 aircraft and over 25 aviation related businesses. Longest runway is 2600' x 75'. Hiller Aviation Museum on site, has early aircraft and helicopters. Many private aircraft. Asphalt surfaces.
