Description:Point Dume State Preserve features headlands, cliffs, rocky coves and vast beach access. These facilities are noted for swimming, surfing, scuba diving, fishing and tidepools. Point Dume is a perfect place to watch for California gray whales during the December - March migration period. Wide sandy beach abutting vegetated high sandstone headlands, rocky coves, tidepool, bluff/cliff. Set in a residential and natural reserve landscape. Small sea caves.
