Description:Our busiest harbor in Mendocino County where much fishing and boating takes place. It has two marinas, floating docks, anchorage, motels, inns, restaurants, condos, apartments, a beach, fishing spot, and a coast guard station. See "Noyo Harbor - Noyo Harbor District" for location details regarding the South Bank.
Site Condition:North Harbor Drive is located along the north bank at the mouth of the Noyo River. It starts along the ridge where it passes by several inns/hotels, weaves down to a street laden with businesses, and ends at a parking lot under the bridge with beach access. The area is reminiscent of any small town fishing village. It includes restaurants, food shacks, boat houses, fish markets, supply shops, crab cages, charter boat rentals, and a Dept. Fish and Game building. On the south bank is the Noyo Harbor District where a Coast Guard station and the marina is located. See "Noyo Harbor - Noyo Harbor District" for location details regarding the south bank.
