Description:
In the spectacular Big Sur area, this park is still relatively undeveloped and offers visitors great hiking, fishing and beachcombing. Miles of trails wind through meadows, beaches and hilltops. A primitive walk-in trail camp, popular with hikers and bikers, is located approximately one third mile from the parking area. Camp Facilities include public restrooms, riding trails. Overnight Camp area good for setting up tents. Facilities include ranger station. Area includes meadows, woodlands, rivers, waterfalls, rapids, bluff/cliff, sandy beach, mountains & rock terrain, open terrain, scenic vistas, deciduous and evergreen vegetation. Scale of Rock = 50' to 100' Andrew Molera State Park, 21 miles south of Carmel on Highway 1 in MONTEREY COUNTY, features a variety of springtime flowers. The park phone number is (831) 667-2315.

Site Condition:
Location is relatively undeveloped and is primarily great for hiking fishing and beachcombing. Miles of trails through meadows, beaches and hilltops. This Park/Beach is 20 miles south of Carmel on Highway 1.

We ask your cooperation in refraining from climbing or cutting these fences. The El Sur Ranch is a working cattle grazing operation. These grazing areas are not safe for hiking.
