Usage Restriction:North Goat Rock Beach (including coastal land and its waters) is a Protected Marine Sanctuary, and is home to federally protected mammals and birds who roost year-round. These animals and their habitats are not to be disturbed, and all visitors and pets must remain at least 50 feet away from the cordoned off areas at all times. Coastal rocks and boulders can be perilous locations, and all Sonoma Coast beaches prone to large, powerful "sneaker" waves and rip currents - caution and safe distances should be strictly exercised.
