Description:Washoe Meadows State Park consists of meadows and woodlands in the valley at the base of the escarpment leading to Echo Summit. The park was named for the Native Americans who inhabited the area for thousands of years. The park lands have not been developed
Site Condition:Summer temperatures range from about 75 degrees during the day to the low 40s at night, and winter temperatures average from a high of 40 to a low of 20 degrees. This park is surrounded with great smoky mountains with scale of 5,000' to 10,000'. Snow on Ground from January to March. 1840-1920 period wood log building.
