Description:Heber Dunes SVRA is located three miles north of the Mexican border crossing at Highway 7 in Imperial County. This 343-acre park is especially popular with ATV riders. Some dune buggies, utility vehicles, and motorcycle riders also visit the park. The park offers a variety of recreational challenges including winding trails through creosote studded sand dunes, large "fine sand" dunes, and dry lake beds with hard packed clay.
Site Condition:This area has 343 acres of land set aside for off-road recreation along with picnic sites. Restrooms with showers are available. The most prominent features within the park are sand dunes and extensive vegetation, primarily tamarisk trees. Coordinates for the park entrance: 32.730114, -115.387664.
