Description:This park is located at the base of the Sierra Nevada mountains and within 20 miles of downtown Sacramento. The park has open grasslands, rolling hills with native blue oak trees, and acres of cobbled tailings left behind by early 20th century gold dredging activities. The area has motorcycle, all-terrain vehicle, side x side, and 4x4 riding areas. Of particular note, is the Pro-Am motocross track which is home to the renown Hangtown Motocross Classic.
Site Condition:Location/Directions The year-round SVRA is located at the base of the Sierra Nevada foothills, 20 miles east of downtown Sacramento and three miles south of U.S. 50.
