Views at 270 will consist of 56 units of affordable housing, two commercial buildings, 36 at-grade parking spaces and 60 subterranean parking spaces. The affordable housing component of the project is located on top of a 13,000 sq. ft. commercial building that is leased by Walgreen’s Drug Store. Hollywood Community Housing Corporation will act as the Master Developer, and develop is both the housing and commercial components of the project. In addition to the Walgreens Drug Store, a 1,000 sq. ft. commercial space is developed at the southwest corner of the intersection along Sunset Blvd. The primary target population of Views at 270 is large families as the project consists of 22 three-bedroom, 26 two-bedroom and 8 one-bedroom units. The overall design of these units is as follows: 23 flats (double-loaded), 16 garden flats, 12 walk-up duplexes and 5 walk-up flats. The one-bedroom units average 535 sq. ft, the two-bedroom units average 745 sq. ft. and the three-bedroom units average 1020 sq. ft. The residential portion of the development will also house a 1,500 sq. ft. community room and laundry facilities.
