Description:Library features courtyard, tunnels, stacks, rotunda and 20'of ceiling height.
Site Condition:Filming allowed on holidays, after and before hours and any days when the main library and branches are closed.

Usage Restriction:This is only general information regarding filming at the City of Los Angeles libraries. The City of Los Angeles libraries are available for exterior and interior filming depending on which location you are interested in. Exterior filming will be allowed during operating hours provided it does not interfere with the operation of the library. Interior filming must occur during non-business hours. Please see the following link for service hours for all locations: https://www.lapl.org/branches. Note that the Central Library location does not allow filming inside unless it is a documentary that our Public Relations office will handle. If you "drop in" to a library to scout, please check with the librarian in charge first and have them contact the Facilities Office at [email protected]. You may not take any pictures of the library without permission of the Facilities Office. Photos taken at Libraries can only be of the building and its furnishings not of the patrons or staff. ALL filming requests MUST go through the Facilities Office. The Branch Librarian does not have the authority to allow filming or scouting. Library parking lots are available as base camps and for filming depending upon availability. Staffing for filming will depend on size and scope of production.
