Description:
A paved, pedestrian-use state park trail that used to be the old Haul Road, formerly a railroad line and then an industrial road used for timber transport. It can be accessed from multiple points. It starts from the Glass Beach Drive parking lot where you first cross an original railroad trestle bridge (Pudding Creek tressle) and walk northward. The trail offers plenty of scenic views of the ocean, low headland terrain, beaches, tide pools, and finally into vast dune lands. As the trail passes by Lake Cleone, it disappears for a short distance. Reappearing, it continues on for another mile before finally dissapearing into the Ten Mile Dune Preserve where its forever lost in time to coastal erosion.

Site Condition:
Good to Fair. This trail is open for walking and cycling.
